Dakota Dolgos is a Financial Advisor on the Ascend Financial Strategies team. He works with business owners, families, pre-retirees, and retirees to help them design personalized strategies for retirement, investment, and legacy planning.

Before entering the financial industry, Dakota spent six years in firefighting and EMS—an experience that instilled in him the importance of preparation, teamwork, and steady guidance during stressful times. That same mindset now drives his approach to financial planning: helping clients stay calm, confident, and in control no matter what life brings.

A self-proclaimed economics and market buff, Dakota is passionate about studying both the history of global economies and today’s market trends to help clients make informed decisions about their future.

Outside of work, Dakota enjoys spending time with his wife, Abigail, and their 4-year-old son, Gatlin. Together, they love camping, visiting family, and exploring new places—they’ve traveled to all 50 states and eight countries so far.
